With a hiking time of 45 minutes, you’ll reach the beautiful Senggflue viewpoint. You start at Chalet Du Lac and follow the road towards the Iseltwald boat station. There, take the path to the left; after about 100 meters, there’s a fork with a signpost pointing towards Senggflue. We continue along the lake and cross a small bridge, the Mülibach. The path leads us further along the lake, past beautiful chalets to a rock face and the so-called Lost Bridge. It takes us across the lake to a small, idyllic hiking trail continuing along the shore of Lake Brienz. Soon the path leads you across a beautiful meadow by a small stream. You’ll spot individual old chalets from the hill by the lake. Especially in summer, the stream invites you to linger—it’s pleasantly cool there, with a gentle, constant breeze blowing from the Fure across the Sengg towards Iseltwald. The path continues along the stream, uphill to the Sengg. Soon we see an old stately house—the former Hotel Schweizerhof. Nothing remains of its former glory. Today the building serves residential purposes.

Below the former Hotel Schweizerhof, the path ends at the road to the Sengg—we follow it around the Schweizerhof to the Senggflue signpost. This leads along old chalets to the rocky outcrop high above Lake Brienz. There you’ll find a well-equipped barbecue area. The spot promises a beautiful view of Iseltwald and Lake Brienz.
